"My wife and I lost our home in the Tubbs Fire of 2017. By the time we were ready to move into our rebuilt home (with ADU) in February 2020 we were exhausted, deflated and mostly broke. We were eager, though, to start our landscaping and the first requirement was a perimeter fence to enclose our near-1/2 acre and contain our 2 large dogs. We had approx. 500 linear feet of fenceline. Kenwood Fence Company to the rescue. Three years later our perimeter fence looks like new. In the meantime we have used Rick Smandra and his teams to build a cross-yard separation fence (50 linear feet), two front-yard good-neighbor step-down fences (60 linear feet each) and most recently an 85 linear foot hogwire fence to protect most of our landscaping from our wonderful but destructive dogs. That fence was built in one sunny day squeezed into our recent heavy rains. Kenwood is honest and reliable. And fairly priced. They will work with your design. The build-teams are skilled and efficient. They leave the work area cleaner than they find it. I'm sure they will meet our next fencing need."

I had my quote within 24 hours, and the job was completed in one day 6 days after! High quality work. Builders discussed how they would build and install. They were professional and courteous. "My wife and I lost our Larkfield home in the 2017 Tubbs Fire. We have 2 large exuberant dogs and a large (nearly 1/2 acre) lot so fencing is important and extensive. Kenwood built over 500 linear feet of 6-foot board-on-board fence with an additional 1 foot of lattice on top, along with 2 entry gates. 3 years later it looks great. We have a high-voltage transmission tower on a back corner of our lot and we needed a 50 linear foot fence to fence it off from the rest of the yard. Kenwood to the rescue. Unfortunately, our 2 exuberant dogs have decided that the best thing in life is destroying a good bit of the landscaping that we worked long and hard to install. Just last week Kenwood built an 85 linear foot gate to demarcate and protect a significant amount of our landscape. The dogs hate it but we love it. Rick Smandra and his team are accessible, honest and reliable. They show up on time and leave their work space cleaner than they found it. The 85-foot section just completed (with a double-gate) was done in a day. We hope we are done with our fencing projects but if not... we will call Kenwood yet again."

"Kenwood Fence came to our rescue, no doubt about it. Our first fence contractor quoted a cheaper price. However, when they came out to install the fence, we ran into a big problem. They started tearing down the old fence, but complained that there was not enough room on one side, due to a pile of rock and dirt that was 2 feet from the fence line. So, they walked off the job leaving us with a big open area. Fortunately, I called Kenwood and explained the problem. Their sales rep came out, gave us a revised bid, and were ready to start work within 2 days. They completed the job in less than three days — removing the rest of old fence, installing the new fence, and two gates — and cleaning up the site. I could not be happier with their response and work. The fence looks great."

"Kenwood Fence did two great jobs for me in the last two months. First they did an all wood fence on the alley, wrestling with a very large, overgrown wisteria vine that was growing in, around and on the old fence. I think they did a masterful job extricating the vine from the fence and then putting it back up on the new fence. Other fence companies wanted only to cut it down! The second job was a wood and wire fence which is beautifully done. I'm very pleased. The men were professional, diligent and courteous, and best of all, they cleaned up after themselves. "Two of my immediate neighbors used Kenwood for their new back fences and retaining walls. Since my retaining wall was also failing it was time, so I looked at Kenwood reviews. I saw the 2.5 average rating and thought it surprisingly low since the quality of the work all around me was terrific. From some of the reviews I did not know what to expect, but proceeded with requesting an appointment. The bottom line: my experience was perfect, smooth and easy. "Today Kenwood Fence arrived at my property and put up a great board on board fence in my backyard. These three hard-working men worked steadily the entire day. "I interviewed 5 contractors. The independent ones and some of the contractors either didn't show or call or didn't follow through with the bid or were thousands of dollars higher in their estimate. I thought people wanted work! Flakes! I decided on Kenwood because that's what they do and were reasonably priced. Jack Goodin came out twice to go over what I wanted... then worked up the estimate. He followed through with appointments and if he couldn't call back... the secretary did! Or they e-mailed. Good communication! Follow through was huge to me because if they don't call back... how do you know they'll show up? I'm a single female and I don't have anyone to take over if the job isn't done. I put it on the calendar and took the time off from work to be there if they had any questions... which at times they did. They got right to work... worked all day except when it rained one day. Jose, who was in charge of the job, was a total professional and knows exactly what he's doing. At the end of the job, I decided I didn't want the pickets I had picked out. No problem. I decided on another design and they worked with me... and without my even asking, Jack said it was cheaper and credited me $400 off my invoice! My neighbors are so amazed at the difference. I'm getting so many compliments over the fence. I didn't scrimp on price or design... but I didn't get robbed or ignored either! Nothing worse than a job started and not completed. Mine was done in 5 days. Exactly as I had expected. It's beautiful and will last for years. You get what you pay for... I got more!"

"After years of needing a new fence, my backyard neighbor and I got together and decided to have a new one built.
