A 6 ft two-rail butted board fence in Santa Rosa built as a variation on the classic good neighbor: the panels are reversed, so the framing rails and posts stay on the inside face and the fence presents a clean board face on both sides. Because the run crosses finished concrete, every post is plate-mounted — heavy steel post brackets anchored to the slab with a PT kicker board along the bottom keeping the boards off the pavement. The panels read as one tight wall of pickets with no gaps, and a matching Z-braced walk gate completes the line where the run meets the driveway.
